Shoots and roots hit the Net with EnergyZone
EnergyZone, a new online health & fitness store, was launched by Estrin Software last week. EnergyZone has a wide array of products for weight management, sports nutrition, vitamins, supplements and herbal remedies.
"After months of research we have designed a user interface which is fast, easy-to-use and logically laid out," said Ariella Estrin, EnergyZone's head of web development.
The shopping cart is always visible which means the user never has to guess whether an item has been added or not.
Arrows next to each line item make it a one-click effort to add or subtract items from the cart.
EnergyZone uses SSL with a SET gateway for processing online credit cards, and allows users to process credit card transactions offline or to make direct cash deposits.
"EnergyZone was set up using a pure Internet business model, this allows us to offer free delivery anywhere in South Africa," said Uri Estrin, the chief operating officer.
The system is fully scalable. EnergyZone is expecting to fulfil order quantities not yet seen by an Internet company in South Africa.
